IMHO ... as a team I feel that we are usually at a marked disadvantage when it comes to Manfred Baseball. As a team we are Dead Last in stolen bases in all of baseball. That's because we really don't have much speed on this team and since Manfred ball puts the last batter on base there is a good chance he's not fast. Makes bunting a runner over somewhat risky. That really hurts us IMHIO. Almost requires that we get a hit to score. Not much of a chance of a Sac fly if you can't get the runner to third.

I don’t really agree, but it is a fair argument, Estrada is average+ at 2B, and Schmidt if probably good- or good. Wisely is average. Fitz is probably average level, but REALLY, you expect more from your SS, so it is fair to criticize that aspect for him at this point. I think he has the potential be better as short though (probably not GG level, but more than acceptable).

You won’t find me defending the roster construction of this team. But at least we drafted multiple future DHs in this years draft.
