According to DP's blog posts, they've been practicing quite a bit of the PK and always feel pretty good about addressing things, but yeah, I don't understand how that can be.

Supposedly they're stressing neutral zone pressure to make it tougher for the opposing PP to gain zone entry. that might have helped on the Pavs SH goal. Maybe Todd knows it's hopeless once the PP gains the zone and has control.

That was a fun game to watch. They really didn't play great but they cashed in when they had a chance. I'll take it every day of the week.

Douglas Murray laying out Anklebitter in front of the net early in the first was golden. It was also nice to see Winchester throw the body around a little bit too.

Only kidding, we should definitely trade for whatever over the hill guy who used to score and can't skate anymore would get the goal total up to the board's standard for the bottom six. Who cares if they can't kill penalties.

I think we have become the Sharks bitch - losing in the playoffs and getting our ass kicked during the season. Enjoy it Sharks fans. It won't last long. Detroit has a habit of rebounding rather nicely.

I only got to catch the end of this game - my travel sched is making it impossible to watch anything this year..

That being said, I do like the fact that we got scoring from some usually quiet sources. Vlasic quietly puts in solid games and I like that he had a bright halo this evening - he deserves it.

PK blows homeless donkey butt. imho, they should just immediately spot the goal rather than wasting the 2 mins to arrive at the same result... it gives us more time for a come back.
