So what else is on tv right now?

:burt: time to fire Todd, or some sort of change.

So how much longer until L. Robinson is our head coach? I'd give it a week.

That last shift pretty much sums up this team. Havlat works his ass off to control the puck in the offensive zone and every other Shark on the ice just stands there and watches him. The result, not even a quality scoring chance. Absolute disgrace.

Couture skates into the zone with puck control and Kennedy drives the net and we score. Please do this more. Fundamental and the way you score.

If I'm Havlat I work my ass off and take it to the goal mouth and shoot with regularity. The last guy I'm passing to is TJ.

Yeah i was going to bitch about that, not one guy coming down the slot or to the wings where havlat can dish to them from behind the net, or anything. Im just to tired to complain lol

you know you're too pessimistic and angry when sharks hockey threatens your personal relationships... Sorry gents, but i have decided to change my tude. at this moment, while Id love them to become good, i am not going to bang my head anymore pleading for changes.

Dougie loves the patricia and Jumbo and will die with them. The todd loves douglas murray and will die with him too. I've been hoping against hope for changes for at least a few years and they just arent coming. No chance the big two are going anywhere, and likely not todd either. DW is secure given his PO making streak. Simply put, as obvious as it seems that the team needs to blown up and rebuilt from scratch as a much younger, quicker squad, it's not likely to happen until this summer at the absolute earliest but more likely not for 2 or 3 years.

So, Ill just enjoy hockey for what its worth and have extremely low expectations :-)

Im just confused by what happened to the Offense, i almost wonder if the Tadd let them do what the players wanted to do then he took back over. The team that played the first 6 games showed what the are capable of doing.

I dont think ive ever seen such a huge drop off in my life

We didn't really expect them to skate with CHI did we? The goal scoring well is bone dry.

I think it's because other teams had far less familiarity with each other and lacked systems while the sharks had the exact same team with a few small exceptions. once the rest of the NHL had figured themselves out the sharks big problems became evident. The lack of secondary scoring is a multi-year issue that has gotten worse and worse, and hit its nadir with the mcginn trade. That is a surprise to no one.

The PP outage is the biggest surprise, but then again we've seen this kind of drought many times, particularly when jumbo and patty stop using their tools.

I a little surprised that the top dogs havent stolen a game recently, but with no consistent help from the bottom lines, there's no way they are going to win consistently either.

Doug has a tough choice, make a trade or fire a coach.

Sharks just seem to have given up and so have I

This team is just plain stale. Stale players, esp. Marleau, Jumbo, Clowe; stale PP; stale coaching; stale GM. Wouldn't mind if they blow it all up except keep Pavs, Couture, Boyle and most of the other younger players.

The players are not listening or responding to McLellan. IMO it started last season. Last season it looked like the players lost their trust in the staff and system and that lack of belief has carried over with McLellan still at the helm. The players got a little boost at the start from the additions behind the bench but it's back to same old, same old.

Uhh, it's not THAT amazing if you stop for a moment and realize that you, the coach of the team, have no fucking idea what your lines and defensive pairings should look like. Night after night, you just keep experimenting with lines that just don't fucking work.

Yes, it doesn't help that your players completely tuned you out but you're not helping with your moronic decisions.

Please resign. And take DW with you.

This is the primary thing i disagree on, the reason being a team like edmonton literally had their entire top 2 lines playing in the AHL. There were others team as well that had thier top guys playing together elsewhere, in fact few teams didnt have that situation.

The Mcginn trade eh, he still hadnt done jack squat to prove hes anything more then a spare part prone to taking bad penalities, not to say Galiardi or Winnik are any different, Its just not as impactful as your making it out to be.

I think its all on Tmac at this point, theres no way a team just stops skating for no reason and stops the cycling the way the sharks did without someone coming down on them for it.

Actually rules isn't too far off here. Drew mentioned this on KNBR last week mentioning the Sharks were ahead of other teams going into the season and now they have caught up to them. This is what he said and he hinted that was why they got off to a fast start. He does mention the Sharks are a fast team though. Really? I don't think they are fast at all. At one time maybe, but not now. Anyways, just because teams caught up doesn't mean you go and flop and die like a fish outta water as they are now.

Regardless of how everyone feels about Doug Wilson, he is the only one in upper management that knows jack shit about hockey. Our ownership group doesn't have a lick of hockey knowledge and Wilson has their complete trust with running the team. Dougie is going nowhere.
