So Fister tweeted today that he grew up a Giants fan and always wanted to pitch at AT&T.


Is that a mini-Franchez moment for him? Will Tiglet fans take that the wrong (or right) way?

No. But if said he's always been a Giant in his heart, they might.

In fairness to Franchez, he said it after the WS. I wouldn't take if offensively if I was a Tiger fan.....as long as he pitches well.

Fister looked pretty calm and collected that first inning.

I think it was not a smart thing to say DURING the series for Fister, but it is not that big of a deal. The Giants and Tigers are not rivals.

For Franchez to ever say that he was a doggie fan, while not purging his sins, was a horrible mistake. That interview was almost turned into a doggie-fest instead of Giants-fest.

To Scutaro's credit, he threw that ball slightly away from the plate. Posey was able to catch the ball and make the sweeping tag, far away from any possible contact with Fielder.

Not good ... I actually like your team, you have a great ball park and beautiful city. Your fans are awesome as well. Anything I don't like about the Bay Area has to do with politics (Gov. Jerry Brown is cool though).

Yeah, i carry no ill will to the tigers. I thoroughly enjoyed them eliminating the A's and all their 3 month old "die hard fans"
