Saw a good amount of the Caps/Habs game last night and Washington just looks horrible right now. No D and shaky goaltending. Devs have a chance to get 4 in the net tonight and continue the strong start. Neuvirth gets the start over Holtby. Just pelt the kid with shots early..Caps are a team that quits early when faced with a hole to climb out of.

On NHL center ice (which was the caps announcers) they said the first 5 on 3 was the two many men on the ice, and then they said that NJ also got a bench minor, but they didnt explain why... I guess the coaches or someone complained really hard... it was the what 4th penalty in a row almost back to back... it really was rediculous the calls.... but thats the way it goes... so when they scored the first goal 5 on 3, the 5 on 3 continued because of the bench minor that was also called....

Refs ruined number 121 SO for Marty... but we got the win so all is good....

Zids is great on the powerplay. Those were great passes. I know he sometimes isn't great defensively, but he is really important because he QBs that PP. All the powerplay now needs is more results.

Yea, Kovy can't play 30 minutes this early in the year. He is in mid season shape however.
