This fellow makes an interesting case for Kubiak as Coach of the Year. Good read.

Ron Rivera (The winner right now IMO)

If the Redskins win the division with a respectable record I think Gruden deserves some talk for it. This is a team I thought was about to fire Gruden early in the season and while in a weak division he has seemed to keep that team together.

I would throw Vikings HC Mike Zimmer out there as well.

Maybe even John Fox.

As teams dip out of contention soon it will be easier to make a shorter list, but Zimmer and Fox have done an excellent job with their teams.

John fox is probably the Marty shotmyfoot of this generation .. Players Coach ...But fox is a wayyyyyyyyyyyy more solid person ! I hope he mange to win a couple SB's the guy is worthy from the years he spent here IMO he just is smooth operator .

Honestly I am loving the job Kubiak is doing. I think if we kept Fox we would probably have a pretty similar record but I don't think we would see quite the same fight as we have seen out of this team. Heck in year's past a game like NE getting down by 14 points we would have completely abandoned the run and the defense would have gone ultra conservative just hoping something happens in their favor. The team seems to stay calm in those situations this year and just find a way to keep fighting.

As the article talks about how he has handled this whole Manning/Osweiler situation has been great. He has helped save the face of a HOF QB by blaming everything on injuries but also doing what is best for the team in starting Osweiler.

Now I doubt he wins as Rivera unless something crazy happens has that all but wrapped up in my opinion, but very happy with what I am seeing and what the future looks like for this team with Kubiak leading the way.
