Garret Reynolds - OT

It is being reported today that OT Garrett Reynolds is expected to sign with the Rams. He's been in the league seven years with the Falcons and Lions. Although a backup, he's started over 50 games.

Strictly depth with plenty of experience on the artificial surfaces! Dude is 6'7".

I don't know about that but his uncle is Hacksaw Reynolds. I like the glow around that and plays both guard and tackle. Nice

Jack "Hacksaw" Reynolds is a former American football player who played for the University of Tennessee, and started out as a fullback and changed to linebacker. He was a first-round draft pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1970 NFL Draft and played there 11 years before going to the San Francisco 49ers in 1981

He got his nickname (Jack "Hacksaw" Reynolds) for using a hacksaw to cut a car in half in a fit of anger following a loss. We can only hope that some of that intensity and desire to win has rubbed off on Garrett...

I don't think they should sign him, he wasnt good enough to beat out Wells, evidently Fisher saw him in practice, that's why he didn't play! I guess that's why he is still with the Rams and Wells is gone!

Now do you see how ridiculous that was Coug? Maybe if Barnes and a few other backups would have gotten to play we would know more about what we do or don't have right now!

He can be the backup swing-tackle. Just a bit of depth that can also play some guard. He's the new Mike Person, essentially.

Of course it was a factor, but if he was still an effective player they may have reworked his contract instead.

I just hope Barrett Jones is finally ready to go. Need to see if that pick was wasted or not this preseason...

I can't wait to see how Jones plays. if he tears it up and becomes and allpro Snisher deserve a slap in the face for not keeping him in last season when he got healthy.

Barnes is 26 and makes 550,000 he doesn't make enough to cut.

Wells is 34 and was due to make $6M actually ($5M + $1M roster bonus).
