Great news. One report says "a couple of weeks" the other says 2-6 weeks. Best news we could have hoped for even if it is up to 6 weeks. With these types of injuries it is hard to judge the time table but one thing is certain we dodged a huge bullet.

I love the emotion and love of the game Bolles has shown so far. From draft night to this. I know I know, not many players cry from a sprained ankle, but you can tell this guy loves this game and has gained respect from teammates quickly.

Broncos now saying no high ankle sprain.... Just a bone bruise. Likely out at least 2 weeks if not a little longer. Depends on how it heals.

I know bone bruises are very painful.. Had a player in indoor go down in pain slamming the carpet.. Thought he broke his leg with his pain reaction. He missed 1 game.

i wouldnt hold my breath for the oakland game but getting through the next 2 weeks and to the bye would be huge.

Did you get NFL treatment on your ankle?

I've heard they are painful and as we know recovery can be long at times.

I've never had a sprained ankle. Had two concussions though. That was fun.

You never get over high ankle Sprains durring the season ..

Stiffness and then lose as hell once you play for a couple snaps .

pure pain . RB's WR's might as well go on a trip some were .. it just is not going to work .

Right you probably won't fully get over it. You may be questionable most weeks. But at least you can play through some of that. Unless a tear or break. Give the dude a shot, cider, dirt and duct tape and get him back out there.

Glad we don't have to worry about that with Bolles.

I know we'd all love for him to be available for that Raiders game in 2 weeks but we have the bye immediately after that game. That is potentially 3 weeks and a realistic timeline for a return based on some of the reports. Even better would be he is ready to go against the Raiders. I'm still not a believer in their defense but they do have a good pass rush and we need everyone healthy for that.

In the long run I'd rather Bolles not make it worse. Glad he is likely back sooner instead of later.

Deep bone bruise and/or high ankle? He's out till bye week most likely. Bone bruises THROB something fierce.

Garret Bolles is becoming an emotional leader of this offensive line in just a short time as a rookie. He seems to be earning the respect of his teammates. A couple of weeks to heal is a blessing for the Broncos compared to what it could have been. I'm looking forward to him returning after the bye week and helping to instill some "nasty" into our O-line.

Bolles stressed he wouldn’t push his recovery, but Joseph said Bolles could be an option for the Broncos at left tackle as early as this weekend against Buffalo.
