Let me help you. The last 3 games:

Tampa Bay - 42 points. Most they scored all season.
Ravens - 55 points. Most they scored ever.
Saints - 38 points before they shut it down in the 4th quarter. Most points they scored all season.

The Bengals look solid. But we've been through this for a year and a half. Let's wait until they play even a decent defense.

Actually, this is very true, but to be honest with you, even bad teams, in the past, the Bengals played DOWN to their level. We have outscored our opponents 80-19 in 2 and half games so far (Giants 6-4 was one of those teams).

Hard to be exicted, because we rarely ever have anything to cheer about or see a blowout, because we try to get up by a TD and then shut the game down and try to preserve the win rather than go for the blowout.

Well, that looked like the old Bengals. Is that Bratkowski calling that play or is it just wherever Plamer goes?

I don't care how we play bad teams. We suck against the good ones. That's undeniable.

I'm pretty sure he went to the Bratkowski school of play calling.

He's one of the few OC's left in the league whose offense is predicated on the run.

I agree. I am just saying, a little different team in the respect I was talking about. We play bad against bad teams, and bad against good teams. At least we have been playing good against bad teams, which is not common theme in the past.

If you are going to run the ball on 4th and 1, you do not run up the middle.

Off tackle with a guard pulling, bootleg, screen, whatever, but how often does 4th and 1 work out up the middle?

It would be nice to have him right now just for the fact that we'd be looking for a new QB in the next 2 years. Instead we're stuck with Dalton for close to a decade at the least.

Nugent bad attempt before, and then has PLENTY of leg to put it down the middle from 55. What a leg.

Nugent decides to make one finally. This game is boring as hell. The Raiders are terrible.

That's a good point because Dalton is not a playoff caliber QB on a team like ours. He could work on a team like the Niners or Ravens, but not ours.

*shakes head*

Dalton is goign to throw for near 4000 yards, throw 30 TD's have 15 or less INT's with a QB rating near 90, and every one is a hater. He is only a 2nd year QB for God sake. If we can't have Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, or Aaron Rodgers, than our QB sucks.

Maualuga must be having a decent game, or at least staying out of his own F'n way, because I have not seen a play where I go....WTF was Maualuga thinking there?!
