Wasnt all this shit from the game driven by a clean hit delivered by Talbot? There wasnt a suspension or even a penalty if I remember correctly

I dont know, I dont follow either team.

When did I mention Dipietro?Grasping at straws?I also didnt say what Hayley did was right but if Johnson didnt want to fight he leaves the mask on.Personally i didnt say what any of the Isles did was ok or alright I'm just saying the pens played their roles as well.

You said the league should punish players for taking liberties so I assessed both potential acts that the Isles deemed necessary as taking liberties.

I dont think this game was stemmed off of just one play. The talbot hit on comeau is a judgement call I personally think the latang hit earlier in the season was much worse and played a major factor combine that with tavaras feeling as though liberties are taken on him the goalies getting run frequently and dipietro being the cherry on the top this was brewing for a long time.Isles got fed up plain and simple.

You certainly chime in a lot for someone with little to no information on the topic

No not really, I had information on this game, I commented on this game. You referenced something from their last game, I didnt have any on the last game so I didnt comment on it. For whatever reason, probably because i dont agree with your stance, you make it seem like I'm attacking you personally which I'm not. But I'm not going to apologize for having a different of opinion.

The past game(s) is what lead to this game. In any event I am not looking for an apology or agreement. Just wanted to make sure you knew you didnt have all the information pertaining to this issue.

Im talking about cases like the bertuzzi incident where its cut and dry not close calls or general bad luck

even there, it wasn't cut and dry.
injury may have come from punch, may have come from fall,
may have come from Bertuzzi falling on him or
from his teammate Konowalchuk dogpiling him as well.

and that was the situation I was referring to... Avs were fighting the Nucks for the division title.
don't you think LaCroix would have kept 4th liner Moore out for as long as possible to keep Bertuzzi out of Vancouver's line-up?

it's just a very dangerous door to open up.

the only problem I had with that was if bertuzzi doesnt hit him from behind the fall and the dog pile dont happen.I fully agree gms and coaches should take some responsability in cases like that but players should also be held responsable for their actions. Its not what he was trying to do that bothered me but how he did it.personally I think bertuzzi got off easy with the lock out coinsiding his suspension but I can respect your opinion as well.

And just so i'm clear I am a devils fan I have no obligations to defend the isles or the pens. While I may understand the reason the isles played that type of game last night and respect them for standing up for themselves I in no way said I agreed with some of the things they did.As I said what Gilles did was terrible. And Although I do not agree with Martins sucker punch on Talbot I feel what Godard did was just as bad good intentions or not.Hell I'm not even saying the pens got what they deserved all I'm saying is the dirty plays have gone both ways and both teams had players guilty of dirty play.

What Gillies did to Tangradi was wrong. The Refs lost control of the game. They deserve some blame that's for sure. The Islanders have had a very frustrating season. They took it out on the Penguins tonight.

Yep the Ref's are the main blame this game went bush league. They lost control and what they tried to control they did it all wrong which allowed too much of this to go on. Honestly what the players did, they knew they could so they took their liberties. Not good for the NHL anymore and the League needs to fix this before it occurs again.

What two games like this in a week, honestly if they want early 80's hockey again, outside all of us long time fans, they will lose any momentum they had after the lockout.
