why would the flyers have to assume responsibility for the contracts that were traded for fairly by other teams. as far as i'm concerned the kings should be responsible or whoever takes over that contract at a later time.

this is the NHL we're talking about here.. nothing makes much sense.

Exactly give Gusty and Gervais a look see what they can do let Mez rest up be ready for playoffs.

Schenn can also get a look at center although he'll probably play wing all year with DB.

need another dman with pronger, mesz, gus, bourdon, and walker all hurt. how are the flyers lucky kenough to have 5 dmen hurt without even playing a game yet?

from what i've read on foster, he's basically a big shot and thats it.. so.. if i recall though he's right handed

Correct. And he is 31, so we dont have to worry about a +35 contract when he gets a multi-year deal.

Plus, the fact that Luke Schenn was a healthy scratch at times last year.

I want Schenn with Timonen, because I believe Luke had his best season paired with Kaberle. Not to mention playing a youngster with Kimmo can not hurt.

This is going to sound a bit crazy maybe, but I remember Lilja not being too awful down the stretch. If he can replicate that then he is an alright bottom pair guy.

Bruno Gervais. Do not want.

Hopefully Meszaros is healthy soon enough. He is still quite an above average bottom pair guy, and could certainly be helpful on the PP with his howitzer.

the lilja bourdon pairing was actually pretty decent for a 3rd pair for a stretch.. then bourdon starting getting injured every time it rained

only playing the isles 4 times balances out if we only have to play the rags 4 times.. i still dont see the flyers beating the rags.. i'll play the pens all day every day, the flyers match up so well against them
