too much lull in the episode. Dani walking around wondering why Jon Snow has not given her a final night of sex, I sure hope the fight starts early and all those previews are not all happening in the final 2 minutes of next weeks episode.

Yeah, supposedly there is a large iron door that protects the crypts and each Stark has an iron sword laid across their lap or on their bones. Interesting theory about Starks being immune to turning into wights. Is it possible that only a Stark can control their own undead in the crypts and that is why there has to be a Stark in Winterfell?

I mean Jon is a stark that died.

Well, he didn't exactly turn into a wight, now did he?

Jon came back from the dead supposedly through the Lord of Light, same as Beric.
Whether the red magic from Thoros/Melidsandre is working the same way is speculation.

Next weeks episode is being reported as having the longest battle scene in TV or movie history. So....I think we will see it sooner than the last two minutes.

For arguments sake let's say Tyrion is a Targaryen. Doesn't this make him the heir to the Iron Throne, and if so, doesn't this make Sansa the queen.

I guess it would depend on who is older, him or Rhaegar. I'm not sure if the Targaryans/Westeros follow the traditional lines of succession like say the British do, but if so, the line from Aerys (the Mad King) would be:

1) Rhaegar (dead), then his children (two were killed, but we have Jon)
2) Tyrion (though if he is Aerys' son, he's a bastard, and would have to be legitimized, or that may not matter if he's the last standing) then any of his future offspring
3) Dany


Much like the British throne goes Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, William, William's children, Harry, Harry's future children, Andrew, his children, etc, etc

She's been unlikable since Season 2.

What's the working theory for how a part of the seven kingdoms gets by on pillaging and raping?

That's pretty much all the Iron Islands have ever done.

That's pretty much their entire history. No people aren't ok with it, The North, The Reach, The Lannisters etc have all fought the Ironborn over the centuries. Theon was at Wintefell initially as a hostage when Balon Greyjoy got a bit too uppity and got smacked down

Wild fire would be more useful.

If Cersei didn't use it all, I suspect we will see it when the Walkers get to King's Landing.

Plus, fire kills the wights.

How do you kill White Walkers?
We know what won't work: Regular steel swords won't kill either White Walkers or Wights.

Fire does work on wights, who are very flammable. But White Walkers seem to be able to walk through it unscathed
