If that were the case they wouldnt have stared straight at Sam Tarley & ignore him. They would have mindlessly killed him. Forgot what season that was in, but obviously not mindless evil.

I believe it was season two.

He's got a mission. He's obviously not mindless because he planned to bring a dragon north with his three eyed raven like ability (or whatever). He clearly has strategy.

However, if his goal is to cleanse the earth of humans in order to save the planet then I would be annoyed. I could just go watch avatar again, which is something I never intend to do.

The things that got me rewatching the episode a few times, Danerys with all the smirks and smiles towards Jon on the dragon, basically showed the only time in her life she might have felt courted or had a boyfriend and acted like a teenager.

The main thing, though, was I got pretty convinced that the wall falling was just a vision that was going to happen in the future (probably from joining in a discussion here) so being months or weeks later and having the dead already heading south.

I am on the right page, though, with whoever died throughout this series and was not burned is someone that can and will be on the dead army, right?

I used the word superb to describe the writing and here is another reason I think it is so:

While symbolism is incredibly important in the show, I gotta say a lot of what this person is saying is nonsense.

She just tosses the golden ratio over any scene, whether it works or not. I think there is some Priming Bias going on here.

Yeah, she definitely went a little overboard with phi. However, I can see the overall idea in the video holding some water. It does at least seem like it has something to do with the the symbols the NK leaves behind and the drawings in the cave. It could nothing to do with it at all too of course. Might just have some ties to the targ sigil like some others have suggested.

Coming near Winterfell the NK might just be able to raise his hands and make the crypts starting humming....here some Carelyn (and maybe a headless Ned? Was his body ever released to them?).

I thought they got Ned's bones rather than a body. I figured catelyn might show up essentially as a nod to lady stone heart.

I read or saw somewhere there is a reason the starks put "iron"swords on their dead or something like that. keeps them from raising or some shit. I am guessing someone on here will know more than me & explain it better. I just remember there is a reason they have iron in the crypts.

and btw, the guy getting the dragon glass shoved into his chest does not look targaryan to me. which really means squat, but still more misdirection, clue or nothing. who knows.

That would make sense in the lore of that world. The northerners have been through winters long and short. And if Bran the Builder built the wall....as the lore goes...then they have fought this enemy before.

Still.....I wonder if they pander and nod to book readers with a LSH showing. I also think that such a silly nod would go over like a very wet fart.

a neat theory on the 8 arms versus the 7 arms on the swirls. the number of arms signifies the succession number of the three eyed raven. before the last three eyed raven was killed, there were seven swirls. after he died, brandon became the 8th three eyed raven.
