But it would be pretty easy to find a 300-400 lb actor who could take massive dumps.

You don't even have to have the guy fight. The most important thing he does is drop a huge growler on the champion of Meereen. Just have him do that and get killed immediately after. Problem solved.

Is it wrong that I laugh AND worry about you Cave?

Yeah, that's been a huge problem for the show thus far.

Thank the dear Lord they were able to find real dragons, and demons, and giants, and orcs, and fairies, and sea monsters and all that shit to play parts without needing CGI. . .

lolz.

GGI'ing a PERSON is different. <shrug> If you're bored read up on the triggered fanboys over Superman's fucking mustache.

Really, really bored.

You're probably right. They'd never be able to pull that off.

Nah. As long as you're laughing at me and not with me then it's not anything I don't deal with on a daily basis.

Problem being you'd have to CGI Belwas. Finding a 300 - 400 lb actor who could do the combat stunt work? Pretty much impossible. I have to give them props for finding the actress to play Brienne. Not easy to find women of that size who can do physical stuff either.

I think they could do it without CGI'ing Belwas. They might have to change his character a little and make him less agile, kind of just an enforcer, but it wouldn't be too tough.

They could easily find a taller actor and put him in a fat suit.

As long as he drops a mean steamer in front of Mereen, the character would have been a fan favorite.

Neil Fingleton (RIP) will be surprised to learn he was just a figment of the CGI artist's imagination.

Realistic looking fights in a fat suit? I guess he must be fighting in full chainmail or something. Not the half bra...er vest Belwas rocked.

You’re absolutely right. They could never cgi fight scenes with a ridiculously large character. It just couldn’t be done.

This reminds me of all the times when you’d tell us The Walking Dead couldn’t have a tiger on the show because it would just be too expensive.

So I was watering the plants this morning and got to thinking, the book series is called "A Song of Fire and Ice." Seeing as how ol' Jonny Snow is the son of the dragon peeps (fire) and the winter is coming folks (ice), wouldn't it be logical that he wins the Game of Thrones? Or is that too on the nose?

Keep practicing the sarcasm Slinky. You'll get there eventually.

That’ll be infinitely sooner than you’ll be aware of what can’t/won’t be done on TV, as the written record shows.

Sucks balls. It’s sucked balls since season three. Started sucking massive schweaty balls at that canyon full of walkers.

Carl died, though, so that was cool.

The connection between the title of the series and Targaryen-Stark lineage has been a common, widespread, well-known idea among the fandom for over 20 years now. People made the connection ever since the first book came out.

But even if the title really is referring to Jon, that just makes him a central character, not necessarily the winner of the throne, and a lot of people think he will instead make a heroic sacrifice and die stopping the White Walkers.

Interesting idea. Of course, there is a precedence for death not having much of a grip on Jon Snow. Wouldn't be much of a sacrifice if he was once again resurrected. Could be an interesting path to the throne for Jon, though if the writers wanted to do something like that. Death through heroic sacrifice, another resurrection, leading to him being crowned King of the 7 kingdoms.

Are there no pro wrestlers these days of that size who are agile? I don't watch anymore but in the 80s and 90s there were probably a few that could have pulled it off.
