My lack of knowledge sure stays with you for some reason. Huh.

Doesn’t stay with me, you keep betraying it.

“Couldn’t have a giant do fight scenes!”

Except, of course, when they have.

And still watching?

Nah. Couldn’t do it anymore. I think I saw an episode and a half of this last season.

The TWD thread kept me in the saddle for a while because I enjoyed going on there and pointing out what a shitshow it’d become.

Not a shit show, because it was always a shit show. I’m talking about a shitshow.

But at a certain point, even that’d become much too much.

So I was watering the plants this morning and got to thinking, the book series is called "A Song of Fire and Ice." Seeing as how ol' Jonny Snow is the son of the dragon peeps (fire) and the winter is coming folks (ice), wouldn't it be logical that he wins the Game of Thrones? Or is that too on the nose?

For the show? No.

The books? It might be. The R + L = J theory has been out there for a long time and it still makes a lot of sense in the context of the books. That said, I recently listened to somebody who is infinitely more familiar with GRRM's work than I am talk about this specific theory and I'm definitely starting to wonder if R + L = J is too obvious. Apparently just having Jon be the chosen one or whatever doesn't really mesh with GRRM's style.

Again, I am not familiar with Martin's shit outside of Ice and Fire, but this guy made a decent argument for why R + L = J could be a big misdirect or at the very least not as simple as we all think it is.

Kinda like you enjoy pointing out how clueless I am.

Well you outlasted me by a season and a half or so.

Are there no pro wrestlers these days of that size who are agile? I don't watch anymore but in the 80s and 90s there were probably a few that could have pulled it off.

Yeah, probably go Samoan or something.

Sucks balls. It’s sucked balls since season three. Started sucking massive schweaty balls at that canyon full of walkers.

Carl died, though, so that was cool.

Oh shit, maybe I need to pick this up again then.

Hopefully he died of dysentery while unloading the contents of his asshole into Negan's mouth.

Hope that fucker is dead too. Stopped watching the show like 2 years ago, tuned in for a random episode not too far back and watched Negan block a bullet with a baseball bat from like 10 feet away. Pretty much had to turn the channel right back to iCarly after I saw that. What the fuck.

Don’t the best of them beat it out,
While the rest of them peter out. . .
which is why I make a point to beat it off... WAIT! I meant “out”!! Not “off”!!

Problem being you'd have to CGI Belwas. Finding a 300 - 400 lb actor who could do the combat stunt work? Pretty much impossible.

I could do it....I was a decent amateur wrestler & defensive tackle back in the day before my fortune telling & mind reading performance career.

Here's a very brief glimpse of me in a scene from the film Real Steel.....you'll see me on the right side of the screen wearing sunglasses and nodding my beautiful shaven head at the 21 to 25 second mark:

Hell yeah.....I could do the Belwas part!

Anywho. Is this shit ever coming back on air? How many more episodes again?
I believe around April of 2019. It's going to be 6 episodes that are going to be "feature length." So I think all of the episodes are going to be between an hour to an hour and a half.

The pic posted earlier was likely based on King Kong Bundy. Of course, he was in his prime 30 years ago, so he wouldn’t work today. It also looked like Erland van Lidth, but sadly, he died 30 years ago.

I am not familiar with the character in any way. I never even heard of him before today. So I couldn’t offer a current suggestion that is based on anything but the image...

Maybe Ethan Suplee?

as I said, it doesn't need to be pulled right from the book. Strong was essentially Dany's muscle. He would fight, eat, drink and was tough as nails. You don't need him to do all sorts of cartwheels or anything fancy, just have him be big and tough and loyal.

Yeah, that's been a huge problem for the show thus far.

Thank the dear Lord they were able to find real dragons, and demons, and giants, and orcs, and fairies, and sea monsters and all that shit to play parts without needing CGI. . .

lolz.
They already can't put the wolves in the show because they are too expensive.

As GoT has always killed off beloved characters and happy endings, it wouldn't surprise me if the Night King ends up on the thrown.

I could even see a face off between the NK and Jon ending with Jon killing the NK at the same moment the NK turns him into a WW. Thus, Jon becomes the new NK truly being fire and ice.

Definitely way out of left field, but not too crazy to believe that Martin would throw such a curveball into everyone's speculations of the ending, as he's sort of like the ultimate troll.

makes me want Winds of Winter even more. I miss some of those storylines.

I almost considered picking book 1 off my shelf and reading it. I think it might deserve a second read through.
