This is a tad ironic. We've been a below average team overall, missing the playoffs in two of the last three seasons, but we've completely dominated Pittsburgh during that same period. Now we finally have a team that is rolling along and we suddenly cannot beat Pittsburgh...Lol

I really don't care if a Flyers does one of those completely classless things like two handing a Penguin.

We need to put this one behind us quickly and regroup. Not enough physicality, speed or power. Basically, we needed more Wayne Simmonds in this one. Guys like Raffl, Schenn, Voracek and Couturier among others can bring some of that in their own ways, but there was not enough today.

Pittsburgh is averaging close to 40 shots and over 5 goals per game across their last 6, so nobody is hanging with them. They definitely were gifted a couple goals today, but still deserved to win.

The bottom line is that we cannot let this loss linger because we have probably our biggest game of the season on Wednesday in Detroit.
