Chip up! You have not been eliminated just yet. You have a big game goalie and a fantastic coach. Your D has had a rough go here of late but they were one of the best during the regular season. You are proven winners. Why so pessimistic. There is a hockey game to be played, still.

I don't really consider myself a pessimist. I'm not one of those fans that thinks the sky is always falling (I thought we would win last year against Montreal in the seventh game, I thought Fleury would turn it around this year, etc), but it's just so hard for this team to score right now. There is such a slight margin of error. MAF and the defense have to keep the Lightning to two goals or under and even that's not a guaranteed victory.

Of course it could happen and we will all be cheering out hearts out for them tonight, but nothing in the last couple games would indicate a positive trend. Not one thing.

WTF? My DishNetwork program guide shows Root Sports Pittsburgh showing the Pirate game??? Usually the Pittsburgh feed is blacked out here anyway, but I do like to get the pregame/postgame. Pirates pregame instead.
