I never get tired of posting this image.

The Jekyll and Hyde rollercoaster continues with this team as we get embarrassed one night and respond with a dominating performance the very next night. I have to say that I expected these results however.

If only we could play every night the way we did tonight as I thought we controlled the play for the vast majority of the last 50 minutes. This is the game our boys always step up for. 10-1-1 all-time at Consol.

I would've called just the dive on that play. Absolutely horrific and blatantly obvious.

Also, if I were Berube, I would've called timeout right before the faceoff on the icing about 9 minutes into the second that directly led the the second goal by Pittsburgh. I know hindsight is 20/20, but I was screaming for a timeout before that faceoff and then they scored a few seconds later.

All is well that ends well though. Great game by our boys, especially defensively. I thought we deserved to score a lot more goals. There were 2-3 posts and a few glorious chances that should've been converted, but weren't. Fleury was downright lucky to only give up four.

Nice to finally see a pen get called for diving although I keep saying they should only give the diver the penalty. Man do I hate that prick kunitz what a lame excuse for a hockey player...

Funny how maguire wanted to suck off every pen even their new coach...until the Flyers started to dominate.

Loved the team D hopefully they can continue to build off of that....now if they can stop missing easy outlet passes as the icing almost killed them!
