I'll take Ghost again. Unfathomable what this kid is doing. His assist last night was about as clutch as they get and then he just about won it on a breakaway at the end of the overtime. That would've been truly sweet. Hell, I would've given him a chance in the shootout too instead of Simmonds or certainly Schenn.

Maybe we've found a 3rd line center also, because Cousins looks pretty damn comfy on the second line for the time being. He is winning a lot of battles and really making a difference. I wish I could say the same for Umberger, who is somehow his linemate!? Along with Voracek!?! Wtf!? Lol

Are we trying to showcase Umberger for a trade? haha...

Well, it won't be Giroux tonight. He is scratched because of an upper body injury as a result of the flagrant elbow that he took from PK Subban (no penalty called).

That should make the lines "interesting" to say the least.

Hakstol will have to really pull something out of his hat tonight. No Giroux, No Couturier.

Dressing Gagner gives him another center to work with, but he looses G's offensive and defensive chops as well as his face off presence. This could be the game that we get to see both Laughton and Cousins playing with top 6 linemates and not the scene fillers.

One possible solution for Hakstol tonight may be to dress 7 defensemen. Condense your forward units and use your blue line to lighten the load? Not sure...it can work with the right forwards in the lineup, but I don't think missing both G and Cooter that the Flyers can get away with this.

Either way, it is Saturday night hockey for the hometown team. Steaks and red wine and hopefully a Flyers victory.
