Patty don't care about this loss. He'll go home, kiss his wife, eat his quiche, drink his milk, listen to some Tchaikovsky, watch the best of Masterpiece Theater DVD 1986, pull on Barney pjs, and go climb in his crib...season and series completely forgotten.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL did I just read the post of the season?!?!?!?! I THINK SO! +Reps

I turned off after the clock went to 0. D3 open beta this weekend, but i've had it for a few months :nerd:

grrr...my video card fried after 10 minutes of playing open beta...had to go to Frys to buy a new one...hopefully it will work, my power supply is only 400W and this new card says it needs min 400W...

I'm still watching, seems like everyone is in denial. I hope they are thinking that this team needs to be blown up, they just aren't saying it. McLellan's final interview as the Sharks coach right now?

Oh well... I'll look forward to following the remainder of the postseason with those of you who stick around.

Here's looking forward to next year.

Ok here is the list I want to see gone:
Marleau- doesn't need to be said anymore
Clowe- has become a slow grinder
Pavelski- weak on his skates and slow
Murray- terrible shot and too slow
Vlasic- too small, not physical, worst shot in league
Niemi- fuck off, go younger and cheaper
Galiardi- fuck off because you do nothing well

The Sharks were the unluckiest team this whole year.

I will never admit the Blues are a better team. The blues were soo lucky.

Ohwell, season started on a Sat and now the season ended on a sat.

Couture just said he played with a re-injured shoulder thanks to the Clifford gooning.

The Blues played greater than the sum of their parts while the Sharks played lesser than the sum of their parts. Good coaching goes a long way and the Sharks just got abused by it.

I have to give credit to Joe Thornton, in my mind he has shed the "non-playoff performer" label that he had earned earlier in his career. The last two playoff runs, he has been especially good. But it begs the question, what if he had been good during those previous runs? I guess it's a pretty worthless question, just something I had been pondering.

Thornton is good now and has exhibited the leadership qualities this team has been starved for. He's clearly the guy this team needs to build around.

p.s. Sharks radio doomed this game by playing a Nickelback ad prior to the puck being dropped...just saying...

Agreed. It's actually easier to mention who should STAY rather than who should leave. OK here's my list (I'm keeping Pavs because he's a normally a clutch player, has a great faceoff % and one bad series isn't going to make his legacy):

Jumbo, Boyle, Burns, Couture, Vlasic, Pavs, Wingels, Braun. That's it.

Good list. I'd add Havlat too.

Oh crap, missed Havlat. I'm still in "take no prisoners mode" after watching tonight's masturbatory exercise the Sharks call a playoff game lol.

I'm cool with that.
This was a down year for the Sharks and under-performing members could have a better year next season with a better infrastructure.
Pavelski irritated me this series but he's not beyond a second chance IMO.
