Burns had way too many turnovers on poor long breakout passes this series.

Niemi and Vlasic the goats of this series, each giving freebie goals in tight games.

This team blows, hope to see major changes.

So sick of the fucking shit, fuck these fuckers.

FUCK YOU DOUG WILSON!

Says a lot about the Sharks this year that I'm not even bummed they lost tonight. I didn't get upset when the Sharks blew the lead late in the third. I really just didn't care.:noidea:

They all turned the puck over. Burns was one of their better players the entire series. One of the only physical ones too.

Dacre it's not that you didn't care, it's just that you WERE NOT SURPRISED. Neither was I my friend...

Thornton was the only positive note this postseason.
He needs to remain the foundation of this franchise. Most everyone else is expendable, though I'd like to see Couture stick around. Burns I think will be valuable down the line even though he'll need to improve.

Marleau and Pavelski can leave anytime. Niemi is a big disappointment despite flashes of brilliance.

I wasn't upset either, because you knew it was coming. They just aren't good enough, plain and simple. I've been watching all the other series, and I just can't see the Sharks beating the majority of them.
St Louis still deserves a lot of credit. They played really well and earned it. Good luck to them he rest of the way.

If marleau is a shark next year, I will be totally and completely perplexed.

Its gunna be a really defining summer for the sharks. Does he go at it with the same core of boyle, jumbo and marleau accounting for over a 3rd of your cap space and just tinkering around them with a little altering of the 3rd line or coaching.

Or... Does he revolutionize the franchise and deal one of those faces of the franchise. I would be shocked to see boyle go, but will jumbo and patty be back at age 33 (and nearly 34 by next years PO's)?

Dougie cannot be a happy camper. Late june cant come soon enough...

Couture def should stick, and I really hate giving up Pavelski.... Don't know what his deal was, but I don't want to give him up, neither him or Burns.

Yeah I guess you're right. I remember the days when the Sharks could hold a third period lead. Seems so long ago (actually it has been a few years).

this is exactly right on...this team has not been good enough the entire year which again points to the GM, always just putting together a roster good enough to make it in but not built to go all the way, like you said even if the Sharks move on, they are done next round.

also forgot to add, this was one of the most boring and lame playoffs i have ever seen, the Blues style of hockey is blah! and the Sharks had no answer for it, coaching staff way too stupid and inexperienced to figure it out.

I'm upset!
The Sharks had the ability but lacked the will.

And fuck the Blues!
I'll enjoy watching their 2nd round ouster.

On the bright side, Jumbo gave it his all and had a whale of a series. Burns was excellent as well. Nemo (aside from the third period today) was very solid.

Pavs, clowe, and patty were very disappointing.

However, it boils down to the fact that the sharks are old and slow and the good teams in the league now are young and quick.

I wish they didn't even make the playoffs, lol. Sound ridiculous but does anyone else share the same sentiment?
