If they start this game the way they finished it this series is over tonight. It took everything the kings had to get that win last game and it was barely enough.
Wassup guys. I've been inactive for quite awhile but will try to login more often. Really excited to see the Sharks close this series out and rest while the other Western series are tight and the teams are beating the crap out of each other.
There's something special this season. I know we often say that, but this mix of youth and veterans is a nice formula. The biggest difference this season is the Sharks' transition game. Forecheck, turnover, chance on net. Amazing what some speed can do to this lineup.
I didn't care for the feel of last game - it just felt like we were reacting rather than initiating, but the consolation is that the Sharks can pound the shit out of these guys in our building and reward a loyal fan base with a series win.
Sharks need to come out and establish the game they played, in general, the first 3 games. Be faster, cleaner with the puck movement and physical in all three zones. The Kings just don't have the people or depth to match our team when we play like that and its obvious - they will either get scored on or take penalties.. and either of those are good for us.
We can't rely on lucky bounces, refs, etc... we need to grab this game by the balls and force the Kings to play our game - and then send them home after a nice handshake.
I've got the inaugural home game for the new Sacramento soccer team followed by a beer league game tonight. I guess I'll have to see the Sharks close it out in highlights.
No going back to LA, take the body early and often.

Looks a lot like last game. Let the Kings dictate the play, don't establish a forecheck, run around in your own zone, bad defensive decisions. We looked better when we were finishing checks - maybe we can do more of that while we figure out how to pass again.
I guess these guys just want to push it to a game 7. I'll never understand why the Sharks do shit the hard way.
I still dont know how as a coach you dont pull nemo after giving up that first goal then when he lost the puck and dropped on the blocker side, hes not feeling the puck at all, Stalock better be in net at the start of the second for them to even have a chance of making this a game
They did this against Detroit a few years ago. Up 3-0, go to 3-3 and barely win Game 7. That was one of the worst periods of the year. Nothing in any part of the game there. What happens to the Thornton/Marleau legacy if they blow the series? Very possible that could happen now if they lose tonight.
