Ducks tie it late in the second period - they lose Sami Vatanen and he ties it up - let's get this next goal boys!

Someone needs to teach Steve Mason how to make saves in the shootout - he's pathetic in the shootout

They got a point which was nice

They went 1-2 for him in the shootout tonight and he gave them no chance in the shootout either - he always gives up 2 or more goals in the shootout

The shootouts a joke I don't even watch it anymore. If it were so great then why not use it in the playoffs...because it's only there to prop up the shitty regular season teams so bettman can make a few more bucks.

Nice game by Simmonds, at least they got a point out of this one.

Whenever the Flyers do well Mason has an off night.

Whenever Mason does well the Flyers have an off night.

One of these days the stars will align for the Flyers.

the 3rd goal ducks goal was an abomination. Simmonds, Coburn, and (cant remember who it was) literally all guarded the same 3ft square of ice where there were 0 ducks within a 10 foot radius. what in the flying hell were they doing? 3 flyers, 0 ducks, and in a shock to nobody, the puck found a wide open duck.

nice work by simmer to dig deep at the end of a 2+ minute shift to get the tying goal. I thought Giroux was going to collapse on the ice at the end of that one.

Loss in a shootout, not surprising. Not terrible to get it there against the Ducks playing on back to back nights out west. All in all, a decent result.

Should have been a win though. Should never lose when you take a 3-1 lead late in to the second.

Edit: Wanted to see how good my attention to detail was. Giroux finished the 3rd on a 2:06 shift and Simmonds was out there for 1:41. Those are outrageous shift lengths.

In our defensive zone we always have 2 or more players guarding the same three feet, its been going on for a couple of years. Most of the time it's 2 defenseman either in the corner together or behind the net.
