I am desperate to know how good Ghost is going to be in a few years. Once he is away from Manning and with one of our other prospects there'll be no telling what he is capable of.

We cant just close out the game we have to give away points to other teams we will be battling with all year for a spot in the playoffs. Play a full 60 minutes for once dammit.

I actually thought the first 40 minutes was the best the flyers have looked all season. Granted, I haven't seen every game and it's the Canes who will probably have a top 3 pick, but still.

I'm not terribly worried about gifting them a point with that 3rd period. It's almost hedging your bet. They won't keep the Flyers out of the playoffs, but they will contend in the lottery, should the Flyers be that low in the standings.

I think we demonstrated our forward depth a bit last night between the goal/chances by Schenn, the play of guys like Couturier and Leier and the penalty killing of Read, Bellemare and VandeVelde.

It's obviously frustrating to choke away a 2-0 lead, but we still get the two points and this was a very strong special teams display after some really terrible officiating on both sides.

The refs really need to take a chill pill here lately. This is hockey, not soccer or basketball. Being near a guy when he falls or slashing a stick in half that was already broken are pretty absurd calls. The irony of the call on Giroux is that the guy holding the broken stick should've been called for playing with it. That's a big swing in the game, but we killed it off regardless.

Yeah just glad the Flyers got the two points and looked good for most of this game - obviously would have liked to see them close it out in the third period but it allowed Ghost to get a power play chance in OT

6 points in the last five games for the Flyers, so essentially they've won 3 out of the last 5 games when you consider that it is 6 out of a possible 10 points - not so bad and at least they're beating teams that are at their level or below like Carolina - I'm hoping they can split and get three out of six points in the next three games, I'd be thrilled
