The Jets coaching staff got embarrassed by Ole Hoodie in the last meeting and with the bye week for both teams I don't see that changing. Then again, if not for a questionable roughing the passer call on the pick 6 that game could have been different. Maybe the Jets learned last week they can't throw the ball 40 times a game, while down to their 5th tackle and missing their best guard (and overall lineman Vera-Tucker). The Jets may also get back Fant and Mitchell on the O line so maybe they'll approach the game differently this time.

Two things.
1) Mac Jones High Ankle Sprain should be MUCH closer to 100% than the past couple of games, so hopefully he can move in the pocket, scramble out of the pocket and just play with more confidence overall.
2) Not to beat Mac Jones up too much, but he has already said he plans to work work work during the bye because lsat year that is when the team play fell off was after the bye.

I think it will be a Jets/Pats slugfest with the Pats prevailing 23-17.

Because Bill gave them 10 days off. Remember? On Day 11 they watched films and the only padded day was Day 12.

Wednesday was the only day that the team is practicing during their bye week. Bill Belichick is giving his players Thursday through Sunday off, before the return next week to begin preps for a Week 11 tilt with the Jets at Gillette Stadium.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Patriots DT Christian Barmore (knee) "should be able to return after four weeks."​

Four weeks is the minimum length of a stay on injured reserve. Per Schefter, Barmore will not need surgery and is just undergoing rehab and resting until he returns. He missed three games with the knee issue before being placed on injured reserve. Barmore had one sack and three QB hits through six weeks.

Patriots declared RB J.J. Taylor, S Josh Bledsoe, DT Sam Roberts, RB Kevin Harris, and CB Shaun Wade inactive for Week 11 against the Jets.​

With Damien Harris back in the lineup, Taylor is back to being a healthy scratch. The Patriots will likely use quite a bit of both Rhamonndre Stevenson and Damien Harris this week. Stevenson profiles as a high-end RB2 with Harris being more of a desperation start.
