I read in a TB paper that Yzerman really wanted him, the FLyers didn't really want much salary in return and that Tampa had the space. So no real idea what, but I assume no high end roster players. Awaz, I don't normally do the rumor thing, but I am really bored and can't really do much but hit every rumor site under the sun.

haha hey i hear you man.. i check him multiple times during the day as well.. sometimes he has stuff pretty early (like this).. so sometimes he's good for speculating and other times he's just ridiculous and comedic relief

very little salary coming back makes sense.. maybe draft picks?.. i just cant think of any prospects aside from this tokharski (sp?) fellow that some ppl have mentioned (goalie prospect)

Not sure how reliable that is but they both seem to have some talent, I'm relatively sure we'd also get a decent pick back in the trade. Homer has Stevie Y by the balls this time imo.

ya those were the names i picked out while scouring TB's future page.. thats their 2 top prospects.. ashton is another power forward, tokarski is a pretty serious goalie prospect supposedly, and he played for their AHL affiliate last year, in other words, he's ahead of ericsson and bobrovsky in terms of development (and he's a NA guy)

I could see Mezaros being Carle's replacement and I think we coudl get a decent return for Carle. I'm starting to look at our off season as a collection moves rather then each individual one. At this point I would have taken a step back offensively and upgraded our defense, while our goaltending situation(which lots of people thought we needed to improve) stayed stagnent.

I'm going to continue to hope that Homer pulls off one more stellar move that makes us all go WOW, let's plan the parade.
