i just heard a rumor of gagne for quick. i am thinking the flyers have no leverage. according to darren dreger they could waive him which is horrible. i also heard gagne for kaberle.

both of the quick and kaberle rumors are from eklund. seriously, gagne for kaberle? how many defensemen will we have.

It would leave the Kings with two (basically) rookie goalies, but I'd do it

Yea especially since the Kings threw 100+ mil at Kovy, why would they try to get Gagne and give up their goalie. I know Kovy didn't sign but unless Gags was a second option I just don't see it. I don't foresee Gagne going any where..

you see gagne going nowhere? who exactly are the flyers trading then? it has to be someone making about 5 mil. the only other players are richards, pronger, timmonen, carter, and briere. none of them are getting moved. it will be gagne. according to sarah baicker on 610 wip it could be as early as tomorrow.

Kings won't trade Bernier. Yes I know he has done nothing in the NHL but the Kings have put so much hype on the guy that the fans would revolt if he left.
They have been telling the fans, "wait when Bernier gets up the Kings will be a true contender" If they trade him know it would be saying the team has no future.

i heard they will announce the zherdev signing today. i doubt they will waive gagne. at the very least they should be able to get picks for him.
