LOL @ the Padres.
Not good enough for them!
I thought Bud Black was the best choice.
That was the obvious choice to me given his ability to handle a bullpen and that being the achilles heel of los doyers over the past 3+ years.
Neither has proven the ability to work a bullpen properly in order to preserve the fragile SP arms they have. Sounds legit. This Giants fan would be happy with either.
You were saying?
Universally loved!
Gotta really hand it to Greinke for stepping up with Kershaw's back went out for two months. And Anderson was a workhorse yet again, really glad he stuck around for the QO. Crawford, Ethier... Also great jobs out in the outfield.Oh, so your team does something this year that they have already been doing with the same talent and Roberts is immortal? Let's wait until the playoffs are done before going apeshit.

Yep. Same players. Don't give Roberts any credit at all. A child with his eyes closed could manage this juggernaught into the playoffs.
Mattingly did. And he's pretty shitty.
The Dodgers broke the record for most players sent to the DL in one season. The previous team to hold this record lost 93 games that season. Dave Roberts lead this team to a division title, despite getting 10-12 less Kershaw starts than Mattingly did. But yeah, he's just as bad as Mattingly was.
Also Dodgers had 60 or 70 something starts by rookies so clearly it was the same team with a different manager.Mattingly did. And he's pretty shitty.

You're like a hot take machine. How did you get such a unique perspective?Great job Friedman.
