Neither has proven the ability to work a bullpen properly in order to preserve the fragile SP arms they have. Sounds legit. This Giants fan would be happy with either.

After getting paid by the Giants, Roberts can buy beers in New Englend for everyone, every night, and never feel the financial hit.

Not our best FA signing ever...

You mean McCarthy? Anderson seemed fine last year and Ryu had his first serious injury. I wouldn't say the staff is fragile.

Ryu has been in the league since 2013. He had a DL stint in 2014 that limited his IP to 152. He missed the entire 2015 season. So he's been hurt for almost half his time with the Dodgers and he's not fragile? :thumb:

Brett Anderson has logged 100+ IP in only 3 of 7 big league season despite being a starter. He's not fragile? :thumb:

Brandon McCarthy has been a SP since 2007 and over that time, he has only made 30+ starts in a season ONCE in his career. His top 5 years in IP are in order: 200, 170, 135, 111, 109. Not fragile? :thumb:

You CAN look this shit up, you know. Considering that is 75% of the rotation currently signed, is there another word to describe having pitchers that seem to spend as much time in the trainer's room as they do on the bump other then fragile?

Relax lol. Ryu got injured rarely in the Korean League, you know, where he spend most of his 20's? You can look that up as well.

Like I said, Brett Anderson looked good last year, never said he hasn't had his issues.

I didn't disagree with McCarthy, so I don't know why you brought this up.

I personally would have been happy with Kirk Gibson, but I guess they came to their senses about that one.

At least Buddy is out of the discussion. THAT was the hire that I was fearing.

I was relaxed. I still am relaxed. I just like to shout from the mountain tops how much I hate the Dodgers. You understand.

Still bitchslapped the NL West and won the division for the third year in a row, so okay dude. :thumb:

"BUT CHAMPIONSHIPS!!1!!!" Whatever. They do matter, but they're a crapshoot and I don't think the Dodgers lost to a bad team. The Mets were good, Daniel Murphy turned into Babe Ruth, it's playoff beisbol. That's what happens.

You can have those Championship flags and wave them, it's earned (and I'm jealous), but everything you say about the Dodgers' "fragile" pitching staff but doesn't change the fact that at the end of 162 games the Dodgers still won the division with an 8 game cushion.

If you want to predict that the Dodgers are going to be limping into the 2016 season while the Giants will suddenly not have an absolutely atrocious pitching staff then go ahead and have fun with that one. Enjoy your wake-up call next season when the Dodgers win the West again.

Definitely, and when the Giants miss the playoffs again next year and the even year is proven to be a myth, I will make sure to rub it in again. :thumb:

Much like when the Doyers prove to underachieve for the 28th year in a row, I will make sure to rub it in again. :thumb:

So where do you guys fly your "NL West Champs" banners again? Those probably look real purty.
