Kings still panicking and overskating stuff. Hesitating and such.

Would like them to be more decisive and play more fluidly.

Actually probably the best shift in like 5 periods right there. After the Hyman goal. I still think the difference is Edmonton defense just hangs in there at the blue line and Kings retreat. Need to hang in there and support the forwards.

Great shifts. Finally burned their aggressive defense. Followed it up with a sustained shift. Didn't score, but that is actually playing some hockey.

Doughty and Anderson down low and engaged offensively. Win or lose, you'll take that. Some good chances there.

Weird first 5-6 minutes, settling in. Liking the effort, they look like they have energy.

Also just an observation, it sure seems like other teams seem to get those pinball goals where as LA really doesn't.

I was thinking that too, but they just throw everything at the net, and Kings try to make the cute plays too much. Need a few more greasy goals. Old school, but not necessarily shooting to score. Shooting low and on net, and maybe something good happens. Kings miss the net a ton.

I actually really liked the period after the Hyman goal. 4th line was getting after it. They did have the unforced icing, and EDM immediately put out McDavid and Draisaitl, but Helenius won the faceoff and it was all good. Kings had some chances to tie, and I think those would fall given a full 60 minutes.

If I had to look for something that needs improvement. That Kempe-Kopitar-Kuz line needs to have an impact. Kuzmenko had a nice little play there towards the end, but they've been quiet more often than not after Game 2. Also feel like Fogoele MIA a lot. Need one of those BS goals where he gets it in the corner and just crashes the next.

I'm just happy the fourth line is getting time alleviating the minutes off the T9. Might come into play later in the game, manage those minutes and deploy as best as you can.

Completely agree about Dexter, he's been very quiet the whole series. Seems like he was more of a factor with Edmonton than with LA in the POs.

Typical Kings 2 on 0, they have been horrible on those all season long. I don't think they scored once and I can count at least four.

They had two in less than a week in March, nada.

Still too cute. Danault leading the 3 on 2. Let me do the most predictable thing ever and turn it over. Moore the next rush, no pressure, panics and passes it to.... no one. These are the simple BS plays, where when all else fails, just chuck it to the net, especially when you have the numbers.

Doughty over the net from the blue line, again. Just get it on net. You answer your own question on why Kings don't get those bounces. They don't put themselves in spots to get those BS goals.

Buster nowhere to be found trailing Nurse, and one Kuemper probably should have stopped.

All those outnumbered attacks, breakaway, almost feels like the tode has turned.

Need one here for sure to end the second or else it's done.
