I see Kings second guessing themselves all over from what I can tell. Never change what your doing when it looks like a well oiled machine

I was basically just talking to myself, but honestly, Edmonton has a better system and wants it more. They attack nonstop, and their defense is incredibly active. We aren't even talking about how Pickard is still in net because they've protected him so well. Kuzmenko 2 on 1 and Kempe breakaway were probably the only real tests. Kings outnumbered somehow on offense and on in the corners on defense. Best home team in the league currently being outshot 33-11. And this was supposed to be the Kings chance to respond to the shell they played in during late Game 4. This game has been basically one giant Power Play. Kings defend just enough to get it out and make a line change, then start it over again.

Fiala picked that one pass out of air, we get a big opportunity, and he fans on it. Just not able to relax like old Fiala.

Any chance LA has can be accredited to Kuemper. Dude saw he got nominated for Vezina and said "bet".

Twilight Zone x 4. I actually wonder how LA would matchup against other teams in the west.

The only good news is LA can't sit back specifically in the 3rd, even though they pretty much just sat back all game. First game of the series where LA didn't have a lead headed to 3rd.

They said EDM has lead for a total of 9 minutes in the whole series, which tells you what you need to know about LA blowing it early on.

I will definitely agree it's Jim Hiller mostly. Not necessarily confidence, though I won't fight you on it. Maybe for me. But definitely just fatigue too. Shortened bench just wearing our dude's out. EDM gets healthier every day. "Nice" to see Kane not be able to play one regular season game but really show up refreshed and making an impact in the playoffs .

Kings have some veterans though. You see a guy like Perry getting in the trenches and wanting it.

Would love to see Kings wake up in the intermission and realize it's 1-1 with the whole world there to grab. Early Kempe goal. EDM opens it up, so you counter with another. Early goal either way probably sets this whole narrative up.

Same thing every year. Mostly disappointed, but then creeps in the 10% excitement we could maybe finally move beyond Rob Blake. But pretty sure Blake has Epstein level dirt on Kings ownership.

Someone needs to shrug it off and give an individual effort besides Darcy, im not dure anyone has it in them...either tired, defeated or no confidence...just not seeing anyone with what we need

You already know how. They have the yips. They had all the swagger in the world, then EDM made some adjustments, and LA caved. You do have to credit the Bed sOilers defense for being so aggressive and getting it up to their forwards. Our defense is so busy worrying about their guns, that the thought of an attack is such an afterthought that you would forget Pickard is in the other net.

It's coaching through and through. Kings win a faceoff, EDM somehow ends up with possession. EDM wins a faceoff, EDM maintains possession. They are jumping on everything that moves and Kings are way too passive. And the playmakers are absent. They look so snakebit. I accredit it also to the game just being more physical too. The front of the net, in the corners. When did LA win a single battle? They are soft, and have always been soft, going on 4 years. They aren't as soft, but they're still plenty soft.

Here's how I would classify the difference. When LA has a lead with 6 minutes left, Oilers don't panic and they're coming. LA down by 1, I feel like we'll be lucky to see a decent chance here.

It's not like I have any delusions that the kings would have beaten everyone for a cup, I realistically think they could have beaten the oilers, The jets and the wild.... Not that they would have played those guys. Beating the oilers would have been as good as winning the cup for me at this time.... To lose this series this way, God damn it....I know you guys get sick of reading how much this pisses me off
