No need. Statistics tell me that judging from my handicap, in this case lack of handicap, there is a 99% chance that I am better than you. I’ll take those odds

It does. Knowing that I am better than 99% of amateur golfers is quite satisfying. Its quite an an accomplishmentI really hope that makes you feel better about yourself.
We get it, you're a Judge Smails.
You do. I can tell. I'll take the compliment though. No one believes you.
Sandbagger!!Never understood why people claim to shoot better scores than they can actually do. A couple of the people at the course do it, and then when it comes time to play in a tournament using their handicap, they can't compete.
Fuck, if I decide to get a handicap, I'm golfing left-handed and trying all kinds of stupid shots to boost my score.
We all know the type. The guy who always "has his worst day" and shoots an 85 when he plays with you but somehow "shot a 68 last week when I snuck out of work" and will never ever sign up for a member-guest because they know they're going to get housed with their fake handicap.
I bet I'm taller than Monty thoughI just feel sorry for people who claim "vanity" handicaps and there are a lot of them. I don't think I've ever met anyone on the course who claimed to be worse than a bogey golfer.
But they're better than the guy who claims he's a 15 and then shoots 75 when there's cash on the line... screw those guys.
I think part of it is that we all want to believe that we are as good as our best score/handicap, and for many of us that was years ago.I just feel sorry for people who claim "vanity" handicaps and there are a lot of them. I don't think I've ever met anyone on the course who claimed to be worse than a bogey golfer.

Hmm. Best swing I ever saw and the best player I've ever played with was only 5'5" Ian WoosnamI bet I'm taller than Monty though
