Political part fanboys are the bane of progress.

Republicans suck.
Democrats suck too.

469 people need to be unemployed next November. This is an embarrassment. Fuck em all. Fire em all! Get some people in there who can work together and not just run for reelection constantly.

Everyone has their cause they care more about. Nothing wrong with that. For the OP, it's the military. For me, it's gay rights. He and I both are going to vote for the issues that are most important to us, even if that means we're not voting in the middle 50%.

It's a type of selfishness, but understandable on both our parts and on everyone's parts.

My cause is always womens/reproductive rights.

I'm a crazy feminist.

OH AND BY THE WAY....

If you like titties and vaginas, you should support Planned Parenthood. They are there to protect those two things.

Thank you and good night!

There are many people who love titties and vaginas. That has nothing to do with Planned Parenthood though. There are a lot of true feminists who despise Planned Parenthood.

Me saying that if you like babies you should not support Planned Parenthood would be the equivalent of the comment you made above. It's just not that simple.

Ahhh, the old I will post a south park clip instead of actually making a point.
Do you really think the lobbyists have no effect on the politicians?
Here's a question for you, who was the last fiscally conservative president that came out of the GOP?

I will wait for your answer but won't hold my breath.

Um, but you didn't really make a point either. You just blamed everything on corporations...the standard, fall-back, magical bogeyman of the left.

Lobbyists do have an effect on pols. Not denying that.

Luckily you wouldn't have to hold your breath for too long. The last truly fiscally conservative President we have had was Reagan, imo. GWB was not a fiscal conservative...even though Pres. Obama makes him look like one in comparison.

I never once blamed the corporations, I blame the idiots that continually support the two party system.

lol...just thought I'd point out that this is basically the equivalent of posting a South Park clip. :) It's all good though. I love (and hate) politics but I mostly come here to talk about the Flyers. Glad we can all have conversations here without taking ourselves too seriously.

His trickle down economics was not fiscally conservative:

By the end of Reagan's second term the national debt held by the public ballooned from 26 percent of the GDP in 1980 to 41 percent in 1989. By 1988, the debt totaled $2.6 trillion
