Fuck ESPN with east coast bias regarding all sports

It annoys me in baseball more than any other sport. Mainly because they will slobber on the Yankees and Red Sox even if they are totally irrelevant.

more eyeballs live on the east coast. that's what it comes down to....... they are going to cover what will get ratings. that's their job.

Do any of you know what ESPN stands for????EASTERN SPORTS PROGRAMMING NETWORK!!!
They originated in Bristol, Connecticut as a New England sports outlet hoping to grab the Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins and University of Conn. basketball and football broadcasts. Thing was they were better than NBC, ABC and CBS and they were a 24 hour network of nothing but sports. Now their broadcasts originate from Los Angeles.......they don't suck up to eastern franchises anymore.
Like most media, they push and shove when Manning, the Arena Superstar, reaches for his zipper.

The "E" stands for Entertainment.

They're worse with baseball IMO. Giants win 2 rings in 3 years and get nothing but if Ruben Amaro gets the shits they discuss how it'll put the Phils at the top of the division.

With football I feel they give the top franchises more coverage(ones with more history and often larger fanbases) as opposed to those having good seasons. 9ers get their airtime. They talk about the packers, cowboys, broncos, bears, 9ers quite a bit.

Who cares what ESPN thinks. They're only good for breaking news and even then they usually aren't the best/fastest source out there.
