Then Rossi said that he was breaking up a fight between two girls. The girl with the abrasions fell to the curb.

Can someone please get the story straight?

Yea this is the Jimbo-story. Its the one you want to believe when Dalvin isnt kicked off the team because he is too important.

No not Jimbo's story. He has not spoken on it since he is out of the state on Vacation. Just funny that there are two different versions from people not associated with FSU. I just want the facts of the case. If he did punch her multiple times in the face he is gone. If he was breaking up a fight then ESPN again jumped the gun on a story and they owe Cook an apology.

He's been involved in some shady stuff during his two year stay in Tallahassee, a BB gun fight that damaged a bunch of houses and vehicles. And wiggled out of an aggravated assault charge in which a gun was pointed at a neighbor although details are of course "sketchy" as to whether or not he pulled the gun or his buddy did. Now this. Really gettin' er done.

Actually he did not wiggle out of the aggravated assault charge. The two witnesses stated that he did not pull the gun.

Phil Steele must be clairvoyant. He stated that Jacquez Patrick would likely start this year. :tinfoil3:

Fuck it. Play nobody but walk ons and 3rd stringers this year. Let the other guys know you are not indispensable.

No bars, no more living off campus, mandatory check ins via gps 3 times a day, all free time is spent at the football facility where you watch TV and play games. Treat them like they are in boot camp.
Or - they could take the USF approach and self-impose a death penalty. It might be the only way to cure the cancer that is clearly growing in Tallahassee.

Do you want Mich State to go down hill?? We have a history of contracting games when teams are that their high only to play the game a few years later when the team is in mediocrity. Va Tech, Clemson, Michigan, WVU.... to name a few.
You signed Michigan after they went 3-9, how exactly was them at their high?

Edit: they were 5-7 the previous season and 3-9 before that.

That was to be expected since their student conduct rules mandate the suspension when he is charged with a crime.
Actually that is completely incorrect. The code of conduct only mandates immediate suspension with a FELONY CHARGE! Not a misdemeanor charge. Get your facts right.

I think it is still to be expected. I don't see how they had any other choice.

Or they could take the Les Miles approach and leave it up to a team vote since he is/was going to be a star. Jeremy Hill style!

They need to get in front of this and show that they actually mean business. This sort of lawlessness is a direct consequence of how the team perceives that the coaching staff will respond, likely because of the way they responded to the Jameis Winston issue(s). Showing that they will separate themselves from good players who misbehave will go a long way to undoing the damage they did with their handling of Winston.
