We shall see we turned from being a high priced 5 star restaurant buyer to the homeless guy dumpster diving I guess they are too dumb to figure out how to meet in the middle.

Doesnt mean we have to over spend. Bulaga, Franklin, and cheaper guys like Wisniewski are still out there. Free agency doesn't start until tomorrow. Some teams are tampering a little to hard and may receive fines for it

Do you even have an ounce of patience? Fans like you are the ones that give the Redskins fanbase a bad name. SM's job is to rebuild this team over the long haul - not make big splashes in free agency to keep fans like you entertained. This new FO cannot be judged for at least a few years & should be judged on on-field performance not phony offseason grades. Chill out.

I'm sorry but this is not looking like a 2-3 year rebuild more like several years

Free agency hasn't started yet. Build mostly through the draft. Not a one year fix. Calm down

This is all fine and dandy to say, but I think its a safe bet to say Jay Gruden wont survive another year like last year. We dont have to be Super Bowl contenders this year, but if we finish 6-10, there will be consequences. So if in building through the draft we end up starting a bunch of guys who are not ready, we might be looking at another offseasonal purge next year. Simply put, we need starters out of free agency, not backups and role players.

Country, you really need to chill out. The vast majority of deals that have apparently been struck are way over pays. We don't do that anymore as we have seen that this does not work. The guys we sign will be value players. Younger, B grade players that are just starting to come into their own. Not the ones that have already made the headlines and want the big bucks. You are the most negative fan Ive ever seen. Its all doom and gloom for you. And this is coming from someone that has been very hard on this franchise, but I completely support letting other teams make these huge financial mistakes for a change.

Now let's sign some free agents already. It feels weird with no big news after free agency started. Being patience is not my style. I don't care if it's a big name or a under the radar guy I just want someone to accept our prom invitation. Paea looks good and hoping we land a o-lineman and secondary help.

The RT crop is thinning and judging from the deals in place I'm not sure we are going to find our RT in FA this off season.

Do you think that the Redskins are remotely close to being as good as the Seahawks and Patriots?

im not sold on jay so i dont care. another personnel change would suck but scot will slowly and smartly build his team. jay just has to do his best with what scot gives him and hopefully he survives. all i said was build mostly through the draft which scot does, is that a problem? should we be one of these free agent day -1 teams paying 10 mil for guys? maybe. i think and hope we do get a guy like bulaga, boling, iupati, williams. and i also hope we get some quality players for bargain prices.
Its pretty obvious to everyone, scot included that its not a one year fix. if you think it is then that would mean over spend on several free agents which we should try to tone down. that is skins of the past thinking. plus free agency hasnt even started yet so for people to freak out already is silly. how many top free agents have committed to teams? like 6. still a bunch of top guys out there.
Basically we will most likely not make the playoffs next season so having patients is the smart way to go.

There is having patients and having a screw it we have no shot so why even try approach. We need to field a team that shows real improvement over the last two years. And Im sorry but firing Gruden at the end of this season would basically be taking yet another step backwards. IN todays NFL you got about a 2-3 year window to get good and stay good. Otherwise you are the Raiders.

That's not what he was saying. Point is the teams that make the big splashes rarely win, you're gonna have to trust me on this one, and the teams that rarely make those types of moves are always winning.

You don't have to convince me brother. As a Packers fan, I am used to the team not dipping into FA instead choosing to pay retain their own talent and build through the draft

Not at all. The hope is that we are changing our approach to making splashes on aging, over priced FAs.

So far, it appears we might be :hope:
