I was hoping that they were benching him because he sucks.

I still think they kind of are benching him. They might be using his "injury" to bench him for his play and give him some rest. Its probably 50/50 injury and benching. Montero is saying he is good to go, but then again most players would say they are fine.

It's 103F at the house now in Mesa.... but the Dbacks play Indoors.... so < 80F most of the time.

The roof is closed three hours before game time, and a massive HVAC system drops the temperature inside the park 30 degrees by the time the gates open.
