Skinsdad, you can combine or remove if one is already started. I wanted to start a thread with rumors and links of free agents we are talking with, have talked to or are interested in.

I'd be cool with that. Jones hasn't proven to be a 20 carry a game guy yet and the market for Morris may be soft.

Skins seem to be pretty quiet right now. I have read we are interested in Lamar Miller and George Iloka. I trust the front office but I hope we aren't planning on the draft addressing all of our immediate needs. Hopefully we build through the draft and use free agency to fill the holes.

I am sure things will pick up tomorrow. Not saying we need to bring Vinny back and go crazy, but a few starters and some depth signings would be great.

Which teams could be interested in Dolphins RB Lamar Miller?

I think it is an interesting culture change.

As many have hinted above, we are taking a more patient approach to offseason acquisitions, negotiations, and moves in general. Scot has said all along this is a 5 year plan. In his mind and in mine, I think we have a 7-9 roster currently against a more difficult schedule. Last year we had a very very easy schedule, and didn't beat a winning team.

We are investing in the quality of our roster as a whole for the long term, so I think some fans may be a bit surprised by the results this year. We are grooming players, and building home grown talent. Anything we do do in FA will be a very low risk acquisition for us, 1-2 year commitment max….and maybe, maybe we swing big for 1 or 2 guys with longer term contracts and some guaranteed money. I think we only do that if we cut Culliver, Riley and Roberts(which would save us a combined $18M in space this year).

How did we do against the NFC EAST? We went 4-2 and that is far more important than any other win/loss stat.

I don't understand this one. Why? When Paul is coming back. Davis is not a blocking TE. Reed and Paul are receiving Te's.

Possible that we are adding more wrinkles into the passing game and Davis on the cheap might not be a bad fall back considering Paul is coming off injury, and Reed has not until recently been the most durable TE on the roster.

He better be cheap he is old. This might be the end to Carrier if he is signed. I cant see us carrying 4 Te's. No blocking Te's on the roster. Run and Shoot offense? lol

Browns, Jets, and Broncos pursuing trade for Kaepernick. Compensation reportedly is a second-rounder, but there's a big difference between were the second rounders for each team are on the draft board. The Browns are more interested than the Jets. If the Browns get him, they won't draft a QB. Wonder if Goff and Wentz are gone when the Eagles pick at #8?

A former Terp and DMVer is coming back home. What could go wrong?

I think the Browns want to get a QB in place and go after Bosa with the #2 pick. But that 2nd round pick of theirs is still prime real estate.
