Actually it proves their GM has a clue. Wentz and Goff are considered the best QBs in this draft. But when you need an entire roster as the Browns do, it makes no sense to draft the QB and feed him to the wolves. I dont know if they should give up a 2nd rounder for Kaep, but I dont think they should draft a QB this year. Grab Bosa and another D-line stud with the first two picks, bring in some one like Griffin to play QB and if it doesnt work out.... they can always draft a QB in 2017 or 2018.

As for the Davis thing... for the right price I love it. You drop him and Reed tight to the line, Garcon and Jackson on the outside... Some one is going to get open.

Fine by me. Keep the team competitive while we build through the draft and once we have a good young team think about splurging on a FA or 2 if we have the cap space.

There is speculation that the safety position is one where Scot might go for a plus 30 guy at a value price (note Goldson) as the position could be likened to the QB position on Offense where the 'right' older players can often still be a value situation.

Shark how can Branch play De in a 3-4 if he is only 255 pounds?
