Ballard Raymond and Booth for MEszaros....

I dont see the problem with this deal

Are you allowed to trade a player no longer under contract on your team? (If I was commish, you better believe I'd allow this - the more like a Vince McMahon run league you can be the better)

\Maybe somebody should try this out and see if it slips by whoever receives the fax in the league office.

i dont expect the flyers to get much of anything for meszaros.. if the pens are in the same boat (over the cap), i doubt they'll get much for whoever they need to dump too, so i would say they're independent of each other

I guess no real 'war' for a draft pick or a two way player...

He's a Czech guy. Jags will then finish out his career on the Isle to close out the "real" atlantic bingo. Although he's got a good part of the metro division down too.

Dustin Penner to @OilersNow on choosing Ducks: "I don't have to move or uproot my dog's life. I didn't want to do that to him"

BS he is staying because he knows if he tries to pack up his kitchen he will lose am arm in some kind of ridiculous accident,

Jagr in Jersey eh? Hopefully, all those gambling debts have been cleared or he could join Jimmy Hoffa somewhere in Jersey.

Just one more reason that Vegas should have an NHL team. That's where his career should end. Hockey in the desert cannot fail.

DarrenDreger: Gagner deal with Oilers: (1)$4.4mil, (2)$5mil and (3)$5mil. No-trade and no-move in year 2 of 3 year deal...only. Interesting contract.

Kinda bizarre, but then again, this is the Oil we are talking about.

official

Jaromir Jagr is joining his fourth team since returning to the NHL in 2011-12. On Tuesday, the New Jersey Devils announced that Jagr has signed a deal with the club. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com reports that the one-year deal pays $2 million in base salary, with another $2 million attainable via a bonus for 40 games played.

Jaromir Jagr gets a $250,000 bonus for every five games played from 10 to 45. That makes up $2M in bonuses from #NJDevils.

That would suck to get a season ending injury in game 14.

Jags adds to his all-time NHL gross salary lead. I mean, he'll be surpassed soon enough, but holding it down for now.
