I really hope we make a run for Chandler Parsons.
He is a RFA & we would likely have pay him near max($14 mil) to get Houston not match. And as much as I like him, he is not worth more than $10-11 mil a season. Same thing applies to Hayward but Utah is likely to match any offer including a max offer.
If Bosh signs with Houston then you can kiss Parsons goodbye. They'd likely TRY to a sign and trade, but if they couldn't pull that off then I think they won't have enough to match a big offer from another team.
I would give him a 4 year deal around 48-50 mil. 12 million a year may not be what he is worth, but with how the market is today you gotta overpay to get good players. A Dragic-Bledsoe-Parsons 1-2-3 would look real nice.
I am glad James has figured things out to the point of limiting his choices to just two teams. Odds on favorite has him returning to the Heat with a revamped roster and a fresh start at another championship run.
Frye signs with Orlando for 4/$32 mil. Can you say overpay & too many years?
Knew it was a long shot when it was first reported, but LeBron is now only considering the Cavs and the Heat. Time for plan B.
According to many sourcesNot that I was expecting James to be the subject of a press conference in Phoenix anytime soon, but has he canceled or foreclosed meetings with teams other than Miami and Cleveland?
