Frye signs with Orlando for 4/$32 mil. Can you say overpay & too many years?

Glad we didn't give him that much. 3/21 is the most I would've been OK with.

Frye was too inconsistent. I'm okay with him being gone, although I liked the guy. Best of luck in Orlando.

I really hope we make a run for Chandler Parsons.

He is a RFA & we would likely have pay him near max($14 mil) to get Houston not match. And as much as I like him, he is not worth more than $10-11 mil a season. Same thing applies to Hayward but Utah is likely to match any offer including a max offer.

If Bosh signs with Houston then you can kiss Parsons goodbye. They'd likely TRY to a sign and trade, but if they couldn't pull that off then I think they won't have enough to match a big offer from another team.

I would give him a 4 year deal around 48-50 mil. 12 million a year may not be what he is worth, but with how the market is today you gotta overpay to get good players. A Dragic-Bledsoe-Parsons 1-2-3 would look real nice.

That is IF they can land Bosh, if not then they probably bring Parsons back.

I agree. They can't afford both unless Parsons takes less money. Even if that happens, there still might be a bidding war with other teams like Dallas who lose out on Melo.

Knew it was a long shot when it was first reported, but LeBron is now only considering the Cavs and the Heat. Time for plan B.

I am glad James has figured things out to the point of limiting his choices to just two teams. Odds on favorite has him returning to the Heat with a revamped roster and a fresh start at another championship run.

Pretty much figured he wouldn't want to leave the Eastern Conference and I don't blame him. He'll get a free pass to the Finals on whichever team he goes to next year.

1. Re-sign Bledsoe
2. Get one of Deng/Parsons
3. Get a big man to take Frye's spot

But given that Frye is sort of a poor man's Rashard Lewis, Orlando being the franchise that gave him that contract is fitting.

I'm happy for Frye, but that contract was definitely too much for the Suns, who possess other players (especially Marcus Morris) who can play the same role and post the same numbers at a far cheaper price.

Not that I was expecting James to be the subject of a press conference in Phoenix anytime soon, but has he canceled or foreclosed meetings with teams other than Miami and Cleveland?

This is starting to get annoying. Parsons, Hayward, Bron, Melo and Bosh all off the table and we aren't linked to anyone I know of besides Isiah Thomas (wtf) and PJ Tucker. *pukes*
