I don't see that being true since it was reported we offered Whitner 4ish million a season and at best Betha is as good as Whitner.

And Whitner signed for 4 years $28 million .. $7 mil/year.. I wonder what the sticking points were for either Whiter not signing or the 9ers not wanting Whitner at that rate.

Don't shoot the messenger I'm as surprised as you are. But it's early and the report may not be accurate (I hope it's not). Every rankings site has Whitner as a higher valued player than Bethea.
