Lot of craziness going on after just the first day.

Panthers seem like they are fine letting Ginn, Philly Brown, and Mike Remmers walk. I say "vaya con dios." Brown and Ginn were both known for two things: Lots of speed and lots of dropped balls. Remmers, after one decent season in 2015, was nothing but a turnstile for opposing defenses in 2016 (oh yeah, and Von Miller essentially made Remmers his bitch in the Super Bowl).

Panthers haven't been making a lot of moves. Was hoping for a veteran WR or a veteran CB. I was REALLY hoping for a big time LT signing. Matt Kalil isn't what I was hoping for. Now instead of one big injury question mark protecting Cam's blind side, we now have two. Hoping the answers come in the draft.

So how's your team doing?

I like the small moves the Saints made.

Pickup B-Cooks possible replacement in Ginn who can stretch the field just as Cooks do. Also got some much needed help on the O-Line by signing Larry Warford.

Also re-signed Fairley.

Is that AJ Klein guy from Carolina any good? The Saints signed him as well

Klein isn't bad. Ginn will make you pull your hair out.

Haven't checked yet, but the Chiefs have mostly done nothing as expected. They have brought in Gerald Hodges for a visit from the 49ers which may be interesting. Only player I'd willing to shed players for is Hankins. Nothing unusual with their tenders. I thought Albert Wilson had fallen completely out of favor- but apparently still worth a tender.

Basically, the Bengals are just a kicker away, so no moves is good mooves, as I always say.

This has been an interesting free agency. I've never seen so many teams blatantly overpay for lackluster players. Matt Kalil is on that list as well. I KIND of understand the OT overpays considering every NFL team just watched Seattle march that abomination out last year... but the overpaying I've seen on sub par tight ends (in a LOADED 2017 draft class none the less) and wide receivers just blows me away.

Well the good news is the Cowboys should have plenty of comp picks in 2018. Finally time to pay up for years of restructures.

Hopefully they round out the roster a bit with what's left on the scrap heap after this initial madness. Puts pressure on them to nail this draft though. Philly and Giants bulking up their receiving corps while Dallas loses their secondary is a bit concerning.

Lovin it thus far. Just sit back and watch the mad scientist work. Soon he'll be known as the puppet master.

It looks good but its a lot of decisions made backed into the corner a little bit due to the cap.

The Berry signing is more than you'd like to see but thats the risk of the Franchise Tag in the first place.

LDT was an overpay for a Guard but he was solid last year and oline is just about the only place where you should be overpaying right now.

Poe might get a 'prove-it' contract somewhere (Atlanta?) but I'm not sure the Chiefs can take a risk on him.

Foles and Charles were obvious moves. Maybe Charles finds his way back but if he finds a spot where he can get paid in Seattle or somewhere else than good for him.

Hankins would be an awesome addition but otherwise the Chiefs should be looking at the draft.

I like what the Jags have done. I think they're a lot closer to competitiveness than most think...or than their record would indicate. They're simply better QB play away from being pretty good. And I think Bortles could bounce back. They could use a better RB (Maybe draft Fournette at #4) and better offensive line as well. But overall I like where they're going. I like putting Coughlin in charge also.

Teams overpay because the really talented guys were re-signed by their own teams because opf the salary cap bump. Can't blame them. They're only trying to sign the best available.

Very slow Day 2. Biggest thing so far is Julius Peppers signing with Carolina.
