Not calling Kirk Cousins a "GREAT" QB.. But he was a Pro Bowler and doesn't turn the ball over that much.

Think about it.

The Vikings are not in a position to sign a great QB FA, they aren't drafting high enough to take who they may think may be the "top guy", we are in a weak QB draft and they probably won't pick early next year.

Hate on the 1 year extension all you want but it is probably the best they can do from their standpoint without going backwards.
