I was thinking yesterday that Gronk - is a guy who could sign on with the Broncos for a 1 year contract. Wouldn't that be something?

It would.

He has mentioned playing with Burrow so I think there is a strong chance in his heart he plays another year.

I'm hearing that a return to the Broncos by CHJ could be in the cards. Interesting move. Not sure he's even close to the player he was during the No Fly Zone days.

I’m not sure I’d like that move. I love CHJ, but his last year here, seems he was getting burned quite often. And he’s only gotten older since then. If he wanted to come back in an emergency/mentor role on the bench, that’d be fine. But I wouldn’t want to see him on the field much.

Chris Harris would be a good signing depending on the price and the role. He is still one of the best Nickelbacks and his work ethic and leadership for the young guys would be locker room helpful. For Harris - he can afford a discounted contract - to be on a Bronco Super Bowl contender. Harris would also have attractive commercial options in the Denver metro area too.

Don't write off a CHJ contract as a good possibility.

I'd like to see the Broncos sign Darius Williams for the CB opposite of PS2. He may cost too much too, but again - maybe a discount here too - familiar DC - chance to play on a contender.

The highest priority for the Broncos should be Oline help - quality Oline help. You don't want to jeopardize the big investment at QB by not protecting him.

I agree. Time to shore up the line for real. A powerful offense keeps the opposing team on the back foot and it all starts up front.

Sounds like we are talking to Melvin Gordon's agent this weekend to try and figure out a deal before he hits the open market... We don't need to pay Melvin big bucks with Javonte Williams here but if he really wants to come back like he says then I think we can work out a deal that works for both parties. Haven't heard of much movement on Jewell getting a new contract but I know we met with his agent.

Texans are already re-signing a lot of their players to 1 year deals. If you remember, last season they signed about 30 Free Agents to 1 year deals.

I have probably refreshed my NFL news sources 165 times today to see if Melvin Gordon or Josey Jewell have gotten any closer to a new contract before hitting the open market.

Keep refreshing...

You would think Melvin Gordon would especially want to stay now with his old college teammate here.

I don't think Paton will screw up any reasonable deal.

Chiefs are expected to trade or release Frank Clark. That seemed pretty given as this season went on.
