Pretty big statement from an old school coach if you ask me.

"He has still got to go out there and execute, but I think he's ready and I've seen the improvement in practice."

Furthermore it appears all the coaching staff got together and they unanimously came together to make this decision. None of this, lets wait til we play against a bad defensive team at home, lets throw the kid in the fire monday night against a really good defense. I like it!

It's more about Glennon failing and losing the team over not switching QBs. Every player knows Trubs is better and they have a shot to win with Trubs. If Glennon was not so bad Trubs would not start yet. Still I and many think Trubs should have started day one. I believe the hobbet is more excited then any of us. Loggins wanted him to start the season IMO based on covert words placed in space that I seen though my tin helmet.
