Not a crisis exactly. Trials halt all the time because they have to account for every variable. They need to get to the bottom of why exactly this person got sick, so they know what warnings to put in the commercials ("Do not take if you wear beanies with propellers"). Hope they get it sorted out soon. It seems pretty promising otherwise.

Yup. One of the other trials halted like 3 weeks ago, was back on in a few days.

Ive seen studies showing 50 to 60% of drugs in phase 3 eventually get approval/succeed... still a crapshoot

Interesting. Did not know that. Regardless, I like the idea of mandatory voting myself. I realize it is likely impossible but as a glass half full, realistic idealist (is there such a thing lol?), I always think to myself, ‘imagine if ______ What would it look like’
