I am back to probably not watching. I didn't plan on watching the tournament but was surprised at the level of play and how entertaining it was. So for a few days I really enjoyed it. Then USA Hockey and dumbass ruined everything. I wont cheer against the US, I am sure Guerin doesn't speak for all the players, probably just 90-95% of them (flip side - how many on the Canadian team like dumbass too?). But cheering against them doesn't feel right and wouldn't be fun.

I liked it better when the USA team was winning this tourney for the Gaudreau family

I don't know how much traction this will ultimately have in Edmonton, but there is an effort to rename Wayne Gretzky Drive in that city. Of course, this originally started with his schmoozing with the tangerine terror at Mar-A-Lago, but the rhetoric around the 51st state and Four Nations has poured gas on that fire.
