I'd make the argument it found it's way into the tournament, rather was purposely brought into the tournament, instead of 'found its way onto this board'. When the GM of Team USA said tariff threats and annexation threats were probably an inspiration - he made it a (the) story, not anyone here.

Not to mention the very foundation of this tournament excluded one country with many if not most of the league's best players for actually acting on what is being threatened by one of the participants against another of the remaining 3 participants.
