I’ll believe it when I see it, but if he can transition into a more traditional roster-building strategy then I will be a happy camper. Heck, I will even be willing to forgive him for the last couple years and retro-explain it off as him only doing it because the roster needed a full, bottom-up rebuild.

It still doesn't explain the hyper turnover. Why claim guys that you never really had any intention to keep? There is no excuse, in my opinion, for the level of churn that he did.
I will say, though, that he was a lot less churn-y this past offseason. I am appreciative of that.

I liked him as a Giant, but I still don’t know what the Mets were smoking when they made that trade.

Nick Avila likely will be returned to the Giants after not making the White Sox roster out of camp. Though, that is not a certainty yet as the White Sox could try to work out a trade with SF to retain his roster rights.

I will add that trades like this are pretty uncommon, so it would be a nice addition back to the Giants organization if this does not occur.
